SPEAKER BIO:
Jenny Walters has been with Clinkscales Elder Law Practice since graduating from Washburn Law School in 2009. She wanted to find a career in the area she calls home, as she attended college at Fort Hays State University and attended high school in nearby Stockton. With her over 15 years of Medicaid planning experience, Jenny focuses on helping those dealing with chronic illnesses like dementia plan for the future, whether that be a goal of staying at home or moving to long term care without going broke. As a former farm kid, she especially enjoys helping those with family farms protect their legacy.
Jenny has served as President of the Kansas Chapter of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and continues to be active in that organization of like-minded attorneys. She enjoys giving presentations to the public about estate planning and long-term care in addition to providing education to long term care facility employees and administrators.
Jenny has the horse-bug just like her mom did, and loves being involved in 4-H, the county fair, going to horse shows with her two children, and working cattle with her family. Her family also includes a husband, mini-golden doodle dog, farm cats, chickens and guineas who serve as inspiration for her office newsletter and email stories.
